Currently 46 scientists from 23 disciplines are working in the profile area. Their research projects jointly unite a time span of 40,000 years and a geographical framework from the Near and Middle East via North Africa to Central Europe, using material and textual sources as well as pictorial representations to conduct various analytical test drills.
